About Us The Arnold Memorial Foundation was founded in the 1980's by a group of community citizens who were concerned about healthcare in the Adrian area and wanted a mechanism for supporting the medical facilities. It was their philosophy that to advance healthcare in the future, it required an investment today.
Arnold Memorial HealthCare Foundation is a non-profit group who exist to help support the nursing home, clinic and healthcare facility in meeting needs that go above and beyond the normal everyday budget items. We are independent of Sanford Health, the Health Care Center Board, City Council, or any other governmental agency. We are a group who volunteer our time and energy for the betterment of the facility. The foundation provides an easy vehicle for people to support health care services in the Adrian area with their tax-deductible donations and bequests. By contributing to the foundation, donors are helping to provide high quality care right here in our area. One hundred percent of the gifts are used for the betterment of the facility.
You are invited to make a gift Help your friends and neighbors receive high quality care close to home. Give to the Arnold Memorial Foundation. Gifts of all sizes are welcome, and they can take may forms. Gifts to the Arnold Memorial Foundation may be restricted (marked for specific purpose) or they may be unrestricted. Gifts which are unrestricted are preferred as such gifts allow the board to use them in combination with other's gifts where the need is the greatest. All gifts are encouraged and will be received with gratitude. All gifts to the foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

Donation Recognition A donor board has been established for donations received at or above $250.00. These donors may have their name or the name of a loved one engraved on the board. This donor board is on permanent display in the lobby area of Arnold Memorial Nursing Home. All donations will be recognized in the quarterly newsletter unless otherwise noted on the donation.
Past Projects Some examples of what the foundation has done for healthcare at Arnold Memorial in the past:
The Phlebotomy chair for drawing blood for clinic patients
An Adjust-a-Sink that was purchased to allow residents in wheelchairs the ability to get their hair washed without having to move to a beauty shop style chair
The Stand Aide which has allowed those in wheelchairs the ability to stand and maintain their dignity
The vital signs monitor which monitors critical information for the residents health
The Nustep which allows residents the ability to exercise
14 Passenger Van for the Nursing Home Residents to go on activity outings.
